As a digital marketing and communications strategist and storyteller, Vickie’s influence extends beyond Sierra Leone. Through her work which includes this blog, the Vickie Remoe show, and the Make Sierra Leone Famous podcast, she has transformed the narrative of her homeland, amplifying stories that celebrate its culture, history, and people. Her commitment to advocacy, education, and economic empowerment continues to redefine how Sierra Leone is perceived on the global stage.
As the founder of VR&C Marketing, Vickie has set the standard for digital marketing, corporate communications, and public relations in Sierra Leone and the rest of the continent.
She has worked with top-tier brands and organizations like Printex, Kalyppo, Mikashboks, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, UNICEF Sierra Leone, Irish League of Credit Unions, Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI), Namati, Changan Auto, DotBleu, Jobomax Homes, and more. She also works as the publicist for one of Sierra Leone’s top musicians, Drizilik, amplifying his story globally.
Beyond marketing, she has dedicated herself to philanthropy, raising $60,000 for COVID-19 relief and holding a yearly Ramadan Food Drive to encourage donations for families in Freetown during Ramadan.
