We are looking to build a team of eager new media and digital content enthusiasts who want to be the first leaders of digital in Sierra Leone. The right individual has an interest in the news, and multimedia storytelling and is passionate about Sierra Leone. Our six-month Journalism and Digital Media Internship Programme will give you an opportunity to develop your writing and reporting skills, improve your news judgment, interview skills, content marketing and social media management, photography, and mobile video production.
Over the years our news blog (www.switsalone.com) has published stories on fashion and style, history, sports, technology, entertainment, politics, and more—giving Sierra Leonean Millenials a platform to be seen and a place to learn about issues and news impacting our community.Covid-19 has shown that despite the inroads we have made to build digital news in Sierra Leone there is still a major gap to be filled.
